51 Reasons not to workout

You know you’ve used them; you know you’ve heard them.  Since I am limited in space we will keep this to 51 reasons not to work out.

 

  1. I have a flat tire.
  2. I can’t find my shoes.
  3. My socks are in the wash.
  4. The dog got out.  I know I don’t have a dog, but it’s an excuse.
  5. The cat has a cold.
  6. I’m tired.
  7. The kids want a six-course meal.
  8. I want a six-course meal.
  9. I’m going to wait until Monday to start.  Ooops it is Monday. I meant next Monday.
  10. It’s too hot.
  11. It’s too cold.
  12. It’s just right, but I am waiting until Monday.
  13. I might sweat.
  14. I have a hair appointment.
  15. I have a nail appointment.
  16. Did I mention I am waiting until Monday?
  17. My dog has a nail appointment.
  18. My cat has a hair appointment.
  19. There’s a really good sale today at Macy’s.
  20. The gym I joined is closed.  Oh, that’s right there open almost all the time.
  21. My workout clothes are in the wash.
  22. I’m going to go on a diet before I start working out.
  23. My cousin’s sister’s uncle’s brother is coming in from out of town.
  24. My lawn needs to be cut. 
  25. I could only find one tennis shoe.
  26. It’s only Wednesday and I’m waiting for Monday.
  27. I have to do my taxes.
  28. It’s too windy.
  29. It’s too sunny.
  30. It’s raining.
  31. It’s only Thursday and I am waiting until Monday.
  32. I have to make dinner.
  33. I have to pick up the kids.
  34. I don’t know what to do.
  35. I don’t know what to wear.
  36. There’s nowhere to park at my gym.
  37. My allergies are bothering me.
  38. I have irritable bowl syndrome.
  39. I don’t have a gym membership.
  40. It’s only Friday and I am waiting until Monday.
  41. I have a great book to read.
  42. My favorite show is on.
  43. I have a date.
  44. I have to write a book on why I am not keeping myself healthy and fit.
  45. I have exercise block.
  46. People sweat on the equipment.
  47. It’s Saturday and I am waiting until Monday.
  48. I’m stuck in traffic.
  49. It’s Sunday and I am waiting until Monday.
  50. It’s Monday but my schedule is too busy.
  51. See any of the excuses listed above.
